Urnordisk
(Proto-Nordic) – Germanic language spoken in the Nordic countries during the Iron Age. The Norse languages spoken during the Viking Age were derived from Proto-Nordic, as are the modern Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Icelandic languages.
